it’s crazy how many people will ignore you because you can’t get drunk or high.
Truthfully
How can you see it? How can you look in my eyes and not see one damn thing? How can you not see that all of my hopes, dreams, and expectations went out the door with you? How can you not see my world crumbling beneath my feet? How can you not see me hear me shouting at the top of my fucking lungs and not flinch? We all die but we never live. We all think of ourselves first when our people need us the most. We all break promises but we never forgive. When we pass by someone different we give them the cold shoulder. How can one not recongnize that this is the pain that everyone goes through? Some days I suffer, but I have not one friend to turn too. We become so dependent on love and attention, but we need to get it straight. So when we don’t get what we want we start to hate. Don’t tell me I’m okay when you look in my eyes. Because I know you feel it or felt it too, that pointless feeling to survive.
